Todd Bankofier is the newly elected Chairman of the Arizona Technology Council, the state’s largest technology organization and “voice” for the technology companies. He served as President and CEO of the Council from 2002 to 2005 and led the organization from its infancy toward its strategic mission to develop Arizona into a top-tier technology and innovation destination.
In his full-time capacity, Todd is Vice President and General Manager of Ensynch, Inc. an Arizona-based information technology services, solutions and consulting company. He is responsible for managing and growing Ensynch’s customer base in the Arizona market.
Prior to this role he served for four years as Vice President of National Sales for XO Communications, a national telecommunications company. In his management capacity at XO he witnessed first hand both the explosive growth of a technology company during the Dot.com boom and the travails of a severe industry downturn as a result of 9/11.
Prior to his role at XO he served for four years as the Sr. Vice President of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. He oversaw all the Economic Development and Public Policy initiatives for the Chamber. Todd has over 10 years experience in lobbying at the Federal, State, County and City levels. In Washington, D.C. he served as an assistant to the Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Energy and served on the staff of the Senator Paul Laxalt, NV.
He has been actively involved in many volunteer Boards and activities since he came to Arizona in 1988. He most recently served as a member of the State Board of Education advancing the AIMS program and other K-12 educational initiatives. He has also served on the Arizona Sports Council, Friends of Education Board of Directors, Fiesta Bowl Committee, Central Arizona Shelter Services Board, and multiple ASU Alumni Boards and Commissions, including President of the College of Business Alumni Association. He is also a graduate of Valley Leadership Class 13.
Todd is married to Kimberley and they have 3 children, Kylee, Scooter, and Bailey. |
