Chris moved to Phoenix from Connecticut in 1976 with his family. After graduating from Brophy College Prep in 1983 , Chris went on to attend Arizona State University, where he earned a degree in Communication in 1987.
After graduating from Arizona State University, Chris started his own consulting firm, which specialized, in strategic planning and marketing. It was this experience that led him back to his Alma Mater, Brophy Prep, in 1988. Chris became the school’s first Director of Alumni Relations, a position he held for five years.
Prior to joining GITA, Chris served as the Director of Development at Southwest Human Development, a children’s non-profit organization that specializes in providing community-based services to young children and their families.
From 1991 through 2002, Chris served in the Arizona State Legislature, where he held a number of leadership posts. Throughout his tenure in the Legislature, Chris was a recognized leader in promoting E-Government and the New Economy.
Chris has been involved in numerous community organizations over the last two decades. Some of these groups have included: Valley Leadership Board of Directors, Arizona Town Hall, Valley Citizens League, Arizona State University Alumni Association, and the Arizona Interscholastic Association.
