V.P. of Marketing and co-founder of Connect Tech International
Andrea Schlanger has been involved with the electronics industry for over 27 years. She is the Vice President of Marketing and co-founder of Connect Tech International, a manufacturer of electronics components located in Flagstaff. Under her guidance, Connect Tech has become an important part of the local industrial infrastructure and won several awards. In addition to her duties at Connect Tech, she writes for the various publications of Arizona Technology Council about interesting businesses and technologies in Northern Arizona.
For the last five years, she has also been a Marketing Consultant to a business alliance between Connect Tech and Arizona Public Service. This venture, Fire, Wind and Rain Technologies makes power products for the alternative energy market as well as for industrial applications. Fire, Wind, and Rain makes the control and measurement systems that operate most of the solar power production in Arizona.
Prior to coming to Flagstaff, Andrea was the Marketing Manager for Multi Fine Line Electronics, a company that makes flexible printed circuits. She was instrumental in popularizing this technology with several large electronics companies that resulted in a two orders of magnitude increase in sales for the company. She launched the company on the marketing trajectory that helped make Multi Fine Line the world’s largest manufacturer of flexible printed circuits.
Andrea has also been active in several organizations including the Greater Flagstaff Economic Council, the Governor’s Council on Innovation and Technology, Lions Club, the Southwest Renewable Energy Fair and Cromer Elementary School. Previously, she has had several illustrations published.
In her quiet moments, she spends her time with her family, gardening and painting in the old masters style. |
