Arizona’s knowledge-based economy and providing the framework, and a forum for ideas, to enable
Arizona to become a global leader in innovation and technology research, development and product creation. |

- As the Governor’s principal advisory group, its members include
Arizona
’s most experienced and knowledgeable business and industry leaders.
- The Council’s goals and objectives focus on areas that foster innovation, creation and entrepreneurial expansion of technology-based companies throughout the state of
Arizona
.
- The Council, in an effort to strengthen the innovation and technology infrastructure in
Arizona
, produced a series of recommendations presented to the Governor.
- The Council, charged with developing the framework and vision to enable
Arizona
to become a global leader in innovation and technology research, development and product creation, launched significant initiatives and presented a Progress Report to the Governor in September 05.
- Currently, new committees have been formed to develop programs that enhance
Arizona
’s global competitiveness in the 21st century.
